IN 2005, RUBY SLIPPERS, worn by Judy Garland in the 1939 movie “The Wizard of Oz,” were stolen from a museum in Judy’s Minnesota home town. After a 13-year search, the slippers have been found. (The FBI hasn’t yet said who stole them.) Do you remember the movie? A tornado carried Dorothy Gale (played by Judy) from her Kansas farm to the Land of Oz. Oz was wonderful, but Dorothy was homesick. Wearing the magic slippers, she clicked her heels three times and said: THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME. THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME. THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME.
